My best guess is that the bamboo sticks have just the right surface energy to adhere to the silicon die, such that silicon will stick to the tip of the bamboo rod.

At some point, 'moving fast' stopped being a practical concern and became a moral position. Speed is treated as proof of seriousness while caution is seen as fear. Real speed requires understood work, clear constraints, and clean decisions. Most 'speed' is vague requirements, half-decisions, and hoping the next person figures it out. The rushed work gets recorded as 'fast,' the cleanup as 'unexpected,' the rework as 'iteration.' Organizations end up with systems nobody trusts and workarounds that become load-bearing.
