Unlike normal elastic subsidence that rebounds with rain, this appears to be permanent. The sediments collapsed so fast they likely lost their capacity to store water forever. Heavy rains from 2022-2024 didn't cause the land to rebound.

Someone rendered the iconic Bad Apple shadow art music video using traceroute output. By using nftables to generate varying ICMP responses with different IPv6 addresses per hop, and patching mtr to show only one address per hop, they created an animation displayed in the terminal via network diagnostic output. The ruleset is over a megabyte.

Anyone know of something like spacemacs which does the chording well? I've gotten used to it but it's starting to feel like it's not being updated, but I have all the muscle memory.

Author here. We pushed 1.1 today. It was scheduled for release two weeks ago, but it was quite hard to balance adding so many new features with the influx of bug reports. I'm most excited about the new symbol index, which reduces 10-second workspace-wide queries to under 100 ms.
