A playable implementation of Martin Gardner's 1980 chess variant where the entire game takes place on a single row. Three pieces per side: King, Knight, Rook. White has a forced mate with optimal play (N4 N5, N6 K7, R4 K6, R2 K7, R5++).

What I had missed is that we deployed a new internal service last week that sent less than three GetPostRecord requests per second, but it did sometimes send batches of 15-20 thousand URIs at a time. That'll do it.
