This is nonsensical, there is nothing textual about the UIs being shown here. Once you start adding mouse clickable tabs, buttons, checkboxes etc. you left the UX for TUIs.

It's a fun project, but I wish the years weren't locked to 5 year intervals. For US charts, Grunge is non-existent as it had not yet hit mainstream in 1990 and was over by 1995.
