Thank you for this! Local models will bring privacy at some point. I already know an excellent use case for such a small embedding model - cheap and fast search in a product base. Relying on the CPU is also a plus.

Acronyms are an easy and straightforward way to create a reasonably unique and short name for a new thing. I don't think anyone would want to write out 'Hyper Text Transfer Protocol' every time.
